Dr Amisha's approach to dentistry is centred on ensuring her patients feel truly happy and confident with their smiles, which she believes to be their greatest accessory.

Dr Amisha obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2013 from King's College London Dental Institute (UK) — one of the world's leading dental schools. She then relocated to Australia, where she pursued extensive postgraduate study in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at the International Academy of Advanced Dentistry (IAADENT) in Sydney.
In 2021, she further expanded her expertise by earning a Diploma of Sleep Medicine and TMD (jaw joint disorders) from the University of Jaume I in Spain — bringing advanced sleep disorder expertise to the TMJ Therapy Centre team. Her comprehensive clinical approach is centred on minimally invasive techniques that blend aesthetic restorative options with orthodontic solutions.
Dedicated to ongoing postgraduate training, Dr Amisha focuses her practice on three key areas:
Focusing on early intervention strategies to reduce the need and where possible prevent tooth extractions in developing children.
Levelling and aligning teeth with both fixed braces and Invisalign — blending cosmetic smile design with orthodontic solutions for patients of all ages.
Addressing issues such as sleep-disordered breathing, sleep apnoea, and snoring in adults and children — a critical area that connects directly to TMJ health.
Dr Amisha specialises in designing smiles using minimally invasive techniques, blending cosmetic smile design with orthodontic solutions such as Invisalign. She provides personalised care to patients of all ages, with a particular emphasis on holistic health principles — ensuring each smile is unique and beautiful.
Staying up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry allows her to offer patients a wide array of options to align with their individual goals and needs. Dr Amisha takes pride in empowering her patients to make informed decisions about their oral health journey, always approaching her practice with a gentle and caring demeanour.
Dr Amisha's combination of orthodontic and sleep medicine qualifications makes her uniquely valuable within the TMJ Therapy Centre team. Bite misalignment is a leading contributor to TMJ dysfunction, and sleep-disordered breathing frequently worsens jaw clenching and grinding. By addressing both factors, Dr Amisha helps resolve TMJ symptoms that stem from structural and sleep-related causes.
Her expertise in early intervention orthodontics is particularly important for children — correcting jaw development issues early can prevent TMJ problems from developing in adulthood.
In her free time, Dr Amisha is committed to a whirlwind of outdoor adventures, (amateur) culinary creations, and training her fluffy labradoodle, Chai, to do some pawsome tricks!
Whether you're seeking orthodontic treatment, help with sleep-disordered breathing, or TMJ care that considers your bite and airway, Dr Amisha brings advanced expertise to every consultation.
Any invasive or surgical procedure may carry risks. Before moving forward, it is recommended that you seek a second opinion from an appropriately licensed medical professional.
